I am a girl child
Once a fetus, having no ounce about the world.
Shielded within MAMA,
Away from the craziness of the world,
I am a girl child
Born of a woman, who was once a girl child too!
Welcomed into the world that knows nothing about love
A world filled with rage and violence
I am a girl child
Orphaned at a tender age and left to carter on my own.
Not having anyone to turn to.
Left at the mercy of my own fate
I am a girl child
Longing and craving for a present, free from gender discrimination And a future without racism and countless tragedies
I am a girl child
With special attribute
Attributes that I'm always told to protect.
Sometimes, my pride and dignity bruised
I am a girl child
Shielding myself from the prying eyes of lustful men
Seeking whom to destroy
Men who think of my kind as a satisfying tool to their insatiable desires
I am a girl child
Yes, I am a girl child, tagged a weaker vessel
How can I protect myself and my kind from being š“€ victims
To such inhumanity? I must find a way!
I am a girl child
Seeking for a brighter future
Knowing that there must be a hope for me
There must be a share for me in it's brightness
I am a girl child
With the wings of an eagle I'll fly high
The strength of a stallion I'll conquer battles
Against the tides, I will roll.....
I am a girl child!
